What
is your New Years’ Resolution for 2008?
I
do not usually make New Year's resolutions because they often
disappoint. I did set a few goals last year, though. One
of them was to build a credible bio.
Another one was to create more opportunities to gain exposure.
This year I would like to continue what I started. I would also
like to write a Christian novel.
Did
you keep your Resolutions in 2007?
In
part. I was able to secure several speaking engagements and
radio interviews. These experiences gave me a platform
to present my message and introduce my book. I had hoped build
a my space page to blog about my book on. I didn't do that last
year, but am working on it now.
If
not, why not?
Learning
the industry and the computer while launching a book have not
been easy being a wife and mother and holding down a full time job.
But I'm still in the game.
What’s
the main reason you think people fail to meet their goals?
People
don't meet their goals for a number of reasons. Some
people don't meet their goals because they aren't sure what they want.
Some know what they want, but aren't flexible enough to adjust their
strategies when they hit a wall. Others are victims of bad timing;
and some just don't stick it out long enough.
What
do you look forward to in 2008 that didn’t seem possible in 2007?
Greater
recognition.
What’s
your best feature? (hair, eye color, legs…whatever!)
My
smile.
What’s
your favorite day of the week and why?
Sunday.
Outside of worship (which I enjoy), there's nothing else I have
to do.
What
celebrity actress do you think you look like or have been told you
resemble?
When
I was younger, I was often told that I looked like Regina Bell.
What
business tip would you like to offer?
Most
people know sincerity when they see it. Be genuine.
