What
is your New Year’s Resolution for 2008?
Get
the “s” out and the
“v” in! - - that is, stay
acutely aware that times and seasons, and situations and circumstances
do not dictate the terms of my existence, or create the atmosphere in
which I live. And it’s not
about my “making a New Year’s Resolution” per se, but it is about
my overthrowing the government of wrong thinking and replacing it with the government
of truth. And the
truth is, (1) No weapon formed against me can prosper, (2) Greater is He Who is in me, than he that is in the world, and (3)
As a woman thinketh, so is she. ~ And embracing these 3
truths, my Precious Sister, how
can I not be anything . . . but
. . . a
revolution?!
What’s
the main reason you think people fail to meet their goals?
Lack
of thirst and hunger, or passion and perseverance! You’ve got to be so
THIRSTY and so HUNGRY that you refuse
to be refused, and you deny
to be denied! I like
what Les Brown said on the matter. He
powerfully, profoundly and truthfully said, You
Gotta Be Hungry! ~ Hear
Les for yourself:

What
do you look forward to in 2008 that didn’t seem possible in 2007?
Walking
in every ounce of my divine destiny, and the truth is, I never doubted
this even in 2007. I am a
Believer whose steps are ordered by the Lord.
I am a Believer who knows that nothing
shall be impossible to them who believe.
What’s
your best feature?
My
mind, for I have the mind of Christ!
However, I do love how the Lord Himself used my legs to cause a lustful man to surrender his life to Christ right on
a sidewalk in Los Angeles! I’ll
have to write about that story one day!
What’s
your favorite day of the week and why?
Saturday.
It helps me recover from the cares of this world and the residue
of just living and working. It
is my day of refreshing and restoration.
It is a day where I have extended time with my Lord, and with my
man!
What
celebrity actress do you think you look like or have been told you
resemble?
I
have been told repeatedly that I resemble Phylicia Rashad and sometimes
Jasmine Guy.
What
business tip would you like to offer?
You are never
too successful to have one more client or customer.
Honor your customers, treat them royally.
Respond to them quickly. Respect
them always. Someone has
said, “Your customers are always right, period!”
In other words, if they are not right, then you
make it right. . . between
you. My example is Romans 14:9: So
then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of
one another.
